Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Daily Facts & Trivia mobile application (the "App"), provided by the team behind Daily Facts & Trivia ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

01Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

02Description of the Service

The App delivers short, sourced facts across a range of topics (such as the mind and the body, science, space, history, nature, and more). Features include a daily fact, a stream personalized by the topics you choose, deeper "Read more" explanations on select facts, saving facts to Favorites, sharing facts, optional daily reminders, and home and lock-screen widgets. Some features are available only with a Premium subscription (see Section 4).

03Age & Eligibility

The App is intended for a general audience. If you are not able to manage an Apple ID and in-app purchases on your own, you should use the App only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for any activity that occurs through your device.

04Premium Access & Subscriptions

A Premium subscription unlocks additional features, which may include access to all topics and full "Read more" depth. The specific features and current prices are shown in the App and on its App Store listing.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in App Store → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.

If a free trial is offered, it automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Free trials are limited to one per Apple ID, at our discretion.

All purchases, subscriptions, and free trials are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with App Store policies; we do not process payments or refunds directly.

05Your Data & Preferences

Your in-app data — such as saved Favorites, chosen topics, and settings — is stored on your device and/or in secure cloud storage solely to provide and personalize the App. See our Privacy Policy for details.

06Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its compiled content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Facts may reference or be derived from third-party sources (for example, encyclopedias, scientific institutions, and publications); those sources retain all rights to their original material. You may use the App and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, or create derivative works from the App's content without prior written permission.

07Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to access it through unauthorized means, interfering with its operation, reverse-engineering it, or using it in violation of any applicable law.

08Disclaimer

The App is provided for informational and educational purposes only. While facts are drawn from sources we consider reputable and are reviewed for accuracy, we do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free, and the App does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

09Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App, its content, or any subscription.

10Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App, or update these Terms, at any time. Material changes take effect when we update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

12Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the App operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
